MultiNode Cluster level BPMN Offline Deployment - Wsadmin scripts.

I am surprised how the offline deployment would work in a multi node cluster setup in Prod environment for BPMN applications.
My Understanding so far.
1. wsadmin scripts can be run only on JVMs that has the TeamWorks application installed.
2. The JVMs that satisfy requirement no 1 are the app target JVMs.
3. In a multi node app target environment, the BPMN zip file needs to be present in both the nodes.
4. In essence many articles suggest to run the wsadmin BPMInstallOfflinePackage command at the cluster level, so it propagates to both the nodes under the cluster.
5. But a cluster is a virtual setup, where it will not have a JVM which will have a bin folder which has the wsadmin.sh file. This cluster level deployment essentially means, running the wsadmin from the Dmgr JVM.
Questions
1. How can one run the wsadmin commands on a cluster level since it will not have the teamworks application installed.
2. Do we have to manually installed in both nodes under the same cluster. If yes, that is not a good design for deployment model.
3. Usually once a EAR is installed at a cluster level, it will first deploy in node1, and then run the synch command, so the same will be cascaded to node2. I dont know if this setup works for BPMN application.
This is hindering my project. If anyone can guide me through this, I will be in cloud 9.
For IBM BPM standard it would surprise me that the recommendation says you have to have the file on all the servers, since all of the assets for IBM BPM standard live in the DB, so there is no EAR / WAR installed as part of the deployment. Can you point to the documentation you are using for this? This one does not specifically speak to clusters, but certainly doesn't say you need to copy the file to multiple servers.

Hi Andrew,
In a multi clustered environment, the app target cluster can have more than one JVM(Node) in it. In that case, we need the BPMInstallOfflinePackage command to be run in both JVMs to be in sync.

But a IBM BPM Standard deployment does not modify items in the JVM at all. The BPM code is in the database, and all nodes in the environment should be pointed at the same database, so if you deploy to one node they all see the data. Now, if you are using IBM BPM ADVANCED with artifacts generated using IID that is entirely different, as the Advanced artifacts are EAR / WAR files an do therefore affect the JVM config.
