Users unable to log into ProcessPortal using Chrome - SESN0008E

We recently deployed a new BPM solution to production and are having issues with users not being able to log into ProcessPortal / ProcessAdmin when using Chrome. Upon logging into ProcessAdmin for example they see a blank screen and their URL is pointing to ".../ProcessAdmin/j_security_check". In the server logs we see the error 'SESN0008E' show up for these users:
WASSessionCor E SessionContext checkSecurity SESN0008E: A user authenticated as anonymous has attempted to access a session owned by user:defaultWIMFileBasedRealm/uid=*****,o=twinternal.
These users are able to log into the system just fine when using IE. From inspecting the server logs its almost like these users are tied to the same session when using Chrome and when someone tries to log in they are unable to because the session is owned by a user with a different user id. This logging statement I pasted above appears several times, one right after another, in the server log output file, all of which have a time stamp that is just a few milliseconds apart from the previous one. The only difference between the logging statements is the id of the user that currently owns the session.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here?
WebSphere Application Server Version: 8.0.0.6
BPM Version: 8.0.1.0
Do you have any security or proxy settings set for Chrome in your environment? Do you have a virgin machine that can be used as a test client. A fresh install of latest Chrome with no cookies previously set?
